Let’s pick up where we left off last week: Nike is entering into exclusive negotiations with UEFA to become the official supplier of the Champions League ball. The most significant consequence of this change is that the iconic Star Panel structure will be eliminated.
Inspired by the ACG line, we tried to imagine what Nike-sponsored Champions League balls might look like. You can see the results here. Looking at these images, we realised that the Champions League would not only lose a ball without the star-shaped structure, but also its entire visual identity.
